What is Soribada?
- Soribada is online music download service specialized in Korean Pop(K-pop).
We offer 1 minute sample for each tracks and you can download whole music track with our Download Plan.
What do I get for signing up?
- To use Soribada download service, you have to sign-up and purchase our service plan.
If you did not make your mind yet, please look around our website and listen to the 1 minute sample. It is totally free!
Do I have to pay for listen to the music?
- No. You can listen 1 minute sample of every single tracks on our service for free.
If you like it, then you can purchase our plan and download it.
What is the quality of music files from kpop.soribada.com?
- At present, we only make 192kbps files available because we consider various types of network conditions for our users. However, we are committed to providing 320kbps files in a near future. When 320kbps files become available in the future, Soribada will make sure that you can redownload the 320kbps version of music files that you already purchased without paying additional fees.
I have just signed up for a membership at kpop.soribada.com but have not received 10 free download credits. What should I do to get them?
- Trial pass for new customers was only available for Beta service.
Soribada shifted to a new price system on Feb. 8, 2012 and at present, Trial Pass is not available anymore. But Soribada will give $.50 CashPoint to newly signed users as welcome gifts. This gift can be used altogether with the Membership plan you purchase.

Music Playing & Downloading
What is a Membership Plan?
- You can buy single tracks/albums at Soribada by paying the price set by the distributors. However, if you are subscribed to the Soribada Membership plan and sign up for Monthly Auto Payment, you can be provided with CashPoint which is equivalent to actual Cash necessary for purchasing the music.
CashPoint includes much more additional bonus than you actually paid for the plan and eventually you would end up getting 12.5% to 47.8% discounts with our Membership Plan. >See the detail of Membership Plan. The discount rate of each membership service can be later adjusted for more reliable and efficient service.
I was listen to the music and it suddenly stopped. Why is that?
- Soribada only offer 1 minute sample to support your download, not the full length of the tracks.
If the sample stopped before 1 minute, it might be a problem with your Internet connection.
The error occured while downloading. Can I download it again?
- All the tracks that you downloaded are saved in your Download List. You can redownload your music in My Page > Download List without deducting from your CashPoint. However, you can redownload the same music at maximum 3 PC's(hardware) and the expiration date of redownload is subject to change upon the distributor or copyrighter's request.
Why can't I listen or download certain music?
- There are some music and M/V containing violence or sexual contents. If you are under 19 years old, you may not listen to it or download it if it is labeled as NC-19(no children under 19). In other cases, sample streaming may not be available if the distributor or copyrighter did not give permission to sell that track abroad.
Why am I required to install Adobe Air™ to download tracks?
- Soribada Downloader is based on Adobe Air™ for your stable downloading and your safety,
not on Active X control. Please use browsers with Adobe Air™ because Soribada Downloader
may not stable in browsers not supporting Adobe Air™.
I have used up all my CashPoint before my Plan was expired. Can I buy additional CashPoint to download music?
- You can purchase additional CashPoint or upgrade to new Plan.
In this case, all the remaining CashPoint will be added up to your new Plan. (The previous plan's details will be applied to an additionally purchased Plan on the date of additional purchase.)
I did not use up my CashPoint but the remaining CashPoint are gone. What happened?
- The remaining CashPoint of your Plan is not rolled over to the next month.
Soribada can only provide you with this incredible discount opportunity according to such a policy that we agreed upon with our copyrighters. (But if your remaining CashPoint is less than $0.49 and you are willing to continue your subscription, it can be rolled over to the next month.) For you best benefits, please check your remaining CashPoint frequently and use up all your CashPoint.
Why some of tracks are greyed out and not available for downloading?
- Unfortunately, some of the record labels have not given us the right to sell their music outside Korea so tracks from those labels are currently not available at kpop.soribada.com. We are in discussion with these labels to get the proper license. We are very optimistic about resolving this issue, and international fans can enjoy all of the K-pops in near future.
Can I listen music files downloaded from kpop.soribada.com after my Plan is over?
- We provide our tracks in regular MP3 file formats(DRM free) and
you can play them on iPod, iPhone and any other devices that support MP3 playback. So, you can play the downloaded files anytime even if the Plan is expired or cancelled. However, the expiration date of redownload is subject to change upon the distributor or copyrighter's request.
If I purchase and download music at Kpop Soribada,will it be reflected in various music charts in Korea?
- Yes. Your downloads will be converted to certain scores
by the Soribada system and added up to Soribada chart of Korea. Soribada provides its official chart to several other music charts in Korea.
My favorite K pop artist release a new album. When can I download it from Kpop Soribada?
- If there is not any specific issue, new music released at Soribada Korea will be updated at Kpop Soribada within 24 hours.
Law & Policy
I am under 14. Why can't I sign up for membership?
- We are worried about the negative effect of music tracks
on children under 14 since music are art media contents which respect the artists' freedom of speech and their creativity.
Furthermore, our service is required payment to use so all member should be responsible for payment and financial issue.
Most of countries have appropriate restrictions to protect underage children and Soribada also keep the restrictions.
I cannot find K-pop track I want to listen.
- Since our service is based on the contract with copyright holders of music tracks,
it may happen that desired music track is not on our service yet.
We always try our best to serve you more variety music sources.
Payment
Can I buy just one or two tracks I want?
- Yes, it is possible.
If your remaining membership CashPoint is less than the price of the track or album you want to purchase or if you are not subscribed to a Membership Plan, then you can still purchase single tracks/albums through PayPal.
What is PayPal?
- PayPal(www.paypal.com) is most widely used online payment agent in the world.
You can register your credit card first,
then it will allow you to shop conveniently and safely without re-typing your credit card information
every time you make a payment online.
Soribada adopt PayPal service for your safe and easy payment and also to protect your privacy.
How can I cancel my Plan?
- You can cancel your Plan at "My Page". Go to "My Page">"Plan Option" and "Request to Cancel".
Please note that if you don't want your account be charged, you have to cancel your Plan BEFORE your plan starts.
I have used up all my CashPoint or my remaining CashPoint is too low to purchase anything. So, I want to start my next Plan earlier so that I can download more music now. How can I do it?
- If you want to start your next plan right now, then you can
purchase or upgrade to a new plan by following the steps shown below.
1. Go to My Page > Plan Option.
2. Select a Plan that you want.
3. Confirm your payment at Paypal.
Then your account will be charged for the plan you purchased and you can download more music immediately. In this case, all the remaining CashPoint will be transferred to your new Plan.
Is my financial information safe and secured?
- Is my financial transaction information safe and secure?
Soribada has introduced a 128 bit special security solution as well as its own security system to handle the member's financial transaction information. Double protection measures are provided, so you can use the service safely.
I signed up and entered my payment information. After that, my credit card has been charged for $1.00. Why is that?
- This $1.00 charge is required in the process to check whether your payment information is valid.
You will receive notification on this charge from your card issuer or bank, but this payment will be canceled and refund will be given immediately.
I got an error message while I was making payment.

Account
I forgot my password. How do I find my password?
- Password of Soribada account is encrypted so even technical administrator cannot find your password.
If you forgot your password, you can retrieve it by certain link.
Click on the "Forgot your password?" button on your log in tab in order to receive your password retrieve link.
The link will be sent to your registered e-mail address so you can re-set your password.
Why do I input my birthday?
- Music is creative art which should be respected its freedom of speech and expression.
But we are also aware of the fact that sometimes it can harm mentally immature underage children.
Therefore we labeled the music containing violence or sexual contents with NC-19
and does not offer samples or download to underage children.
We need your birthday for this purpose and does not use your information for any other purpose
which is not stated in our term of use and privacy policy.
Can I change my birthday?
- Sorry. Once you input your birthday, it is unchangeable.
If you put false information, you are responsible for all legal and ethical problems caused by it.
How do I delete my account?
- You can cancel your subscription in My Page > Edit My Account.
If you choose to cancel your subscription, it means that you are giving up your remaining CashPoint and the right to redownload under your current plan. Your account will be deleted immediately.
I signed up for kpop.soribada.com but did not receive verification e-mail. I also checked my spam folder. What happened?
- Some mail accounts such as aol.com or yahoo.com do not support our verification e-mail so you cannot receive the verification e-mail with those mail accounts. So please re-sign up to Soribada with other e-mail account.
I am a member of Soribada Korea. How can I go to Soribada Korea?
- http://kpop.soribada.com is for the customers who use our service for other countries than Korea and you need to sign up for http://kpop.soribada.com even though you have signed up for Korean soribada.com.
To go to Soribada Korea,
Click the "language setting" next to the "Soribada.com Logo" at the top-right of http://kpop.soribada.com.
Then click "Go to Soribada Korea" link.
I can't log into Kpop Soribada.
- Many of our members mistakenly enter their Nick Names in ID Box. Your ID for Kpop Soribada is your email address.
Please check your ID again, and if you still have the problem with logging in, then you are recommended to reset your password by using the password reset function.
